HJC also applied and anti-scratch coating. The HJC IS-33 helmet takes no tools to swap out or simply remove the faceshield with the QuickShade shield replacement system. If the open face helmet design does not give enough ventilation HJC added their Advanced Channeling Ventilation system to allow fresh air in the front and hot air out the back. HJC utilized the SilverCool? liner for the IS-33 helmet that is moisture-wicking and odor-free with advanced silver anti-bacterial fabric. The washable liner is easily removable for a fresh comfortable feeling every ride. Quality construction practice granted the HJC IS-33 helmet DOT approval.
